How to delete your blog?


Hi, once you know how to Create your first blog in blogger.com you also must me aware of how to delete the created blog. Because some times while trying out the first blog something might go wrong and you feel that the blog is to be modified or delete completely so that it is not published in the website.Also you might have 100 of blogs out which some are rarely used or might got too old and to keep up your dashboard look organised you need to delete some of the blogs. At this point you don't know how to do it but don't worry here is the step by step procedure to delete the blog which is created.


Step by step procedure to delete the blog



Step 1:- Login to your blogger account and click on My blogs link then you get the total list of blogs which you have created.For ex in below screen shot you find three blogs in which I would liketo delete the "My first blog" which has been marked in the screen shot


Click on the blog which you want to delete permanently For ex in above screen click on " My first blog"

Step 2:- Once you click on the blog which you want to delete you find on the left hand side of the page the settings click on the settings and you will get the drop down under which you find the Other.Select the option "Other" as shown in the below screen shot


Step 3: Once you follow the step 2 you find the below screen 

 In the above screen you find the delete blog option in Blog tools click on "Delete Blog"

Step 4: After step three you find the below Popup screen

Before clicking on Delete blog make sure you want to delete the blog because all the blog contents including Posts, settings will be deleted in the blog. If you want to keep the XML file of the blog you keep it by downloading from download blog.

Once you follow the above simple 4 step your dashboard will be free from unwanted blogs. You can see your deleted blogs from "Deleted blogs" list.
